Blackford Capital Portfolio Company Amtech Corporation Announces Acquisition of Dynamic Fabricators

November 4, 2009 – IRVINE, CA – Blackford Capital LLC, a California-based U.S. private equity firm in the middle-market, announced today the acquisition of Dynamic Fabricators (www.dynafab.net) by one of its portfolio companies, Amtech Corporation (www.amtechcorp.com). 

Dynamic Fabricators is a manufacturer of fiberglass and wood cooling tower components for the power and process industries; the company also handles a variety of custom fiberglass manufacturing for consumer products. Dynamic Fabricators has two manufacturing facilities: one in Rathdrum, ID and the other in Houston, TX.  Dynamic Fabricators will be an add-on acquisition for Amtech Corporation—a fiberglass manufacturer based in Yakima, WA that services the military, construction equipment and transportation industries.

Wade Wolcott, President of Dynamic Fabricators, expressed his thoughts on the future business opportunities, “I’ve watched Dynamic Fabricators grow into a key supplier to many of the leading cooling tower companies within the U.S.” said Wolcott. “I’m confident that the excellent customer relationships we have created will continue to prosper when combined with Amtech’s resources.”

Mr. Wolcott will remain with both Dynamic Fabricators and Amtech following the transaction in an advisory role.  His 30 years of experience in composites and established customer relationships will be of strong value in assisting the growth of both companies.
