Upcoming Webinar: Where did all the workers go?

Join Us for A Free Webinar Thursday, September 29th from 12-1pm

For the first time in the modern history of the United States, the availability of labor is a major constraining factor in industries’ ability to meet market demands.

In response to COVID-19, the U.S. (and most other industrialized nations) shut down major sections of their economies. In the U.S., federal and state governments then enacted significant economic stimulus packages that simultaneously paid employers to maintain jobs while paying employees not to work.

The unintended consequence of those actions has been titled the “Great Resignation” or the “Big Quit.” Millions of employees have changed jobs, companies and industries – and even left the workforce altogether.

To facilitate greater understanding of the current middle and longer-term impacts of the Great Resignation, Blackford is proud to join Corp! Magazine in presenting:

Where did all the workers go? A multi-faceted conversation about the fundamental restructuring of the post-pandemic relationship between people and their work.

On Thursday, September 29 from 12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m., Blackford Capital Founder and Managing Director Martin Stein will be joined by a panel of talent and leadership experts for the webinar:

  • Tom DiDonato: SVP and Chief People Officer, Lear Corporation
  • Kerry Ebersole Singh: Chief Talent Solutions and Engagement Officer, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC)
  • Sherika Ekpo: Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Anaplan

The panelists will discuss some of the biggest questions facing business today and share their understanding of the trends and emerging solutions to the question:  where did all the employees go, and what will bring them back to work?
