Rishabh Mukherjee is the Vice President of Deals at Blackford Capital. He has 10+ years of experience in executing complex mandates focused on Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Corporate Development. Along with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects across the entire deal spectrum on both buy-side and sell-side mandates by working closely with various stakeholders across the deal life cycle.
History & Education
Rishabh previously worked as the Senior Manager at Avalon Global Research, leading a team of 12 working across verticals within the M&A and private equity domains. He has experience working with clients across the United States, Canada, UK, Middle East and India, from large institutional banks to boutique investment firms and family offices. This experience has helped him understand the true value of building a team and providing opportunities for them to grow and excel in their work as well as grow as “fine human beings.”
A Mumbai native, Rishabh earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai, where he majored in accounting and business management. He went on to complete his Master of Commerce there and is a CFA Charterholder. He’s also fluent in both English and Hindi.
Key Transactions
Rishabh has been involved in various buy-side and sell side transactions ranging from manufacturing companies to unique businesses such as digital commerce-related businesses, sports and recreational activities, and advertising and financial services companies.
He worked with companies across the world in an outsourced capacity to run deal processes through the transactions. Deal sizes have ranged from $3MM to $50MM USD.
Outside of Work
Rishabh is passionate about music. He plays guitar, writes and records his own songs, and was once part of a cover band, and he also loves cooking. A former school and college-level basketball player, he stays active and competitive when he can.
