Kristen Muir is the Vice President of Portfolio Operations at Blackford Capital, where she leads portfolio management and value creation across the firm’s portfolio companies. She joined Blackford in 2025 and brings nearly a decade of experience in finance strategy and consulting, focused on driving strategic initiatives and value creation.
History & Education
Before joining Blackford, Kristen built her career in Finance Strategy & Consulting at Deloitte and Accenture, advising clients on strategic and value-creation initiatives, financial and operational improvements, AI process reinvention, organizational design, reporting and analytics, data governance, and broader business transformation across the industrial manufacturing, energy, and business services sectors.
A Michigan native, Kristen earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, where she majored in Finance, minored in sales leadership, and was a team member and leader on the Women’s Varsity Volleyball Team.
Outside of Work
As a health and wellness enthusiast, Kristen enjoys being active through running, hiking, and skiing. She is also passionate about traveling, baking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
