Kelly Potter is the Operations and Administrative Coordinator at Blackford Capital. Following her internship with Blackford, she joined the team full-time in 2026. Kelly supports the team through travel coordination, event planning, office operations, and administrative support. She manages many of the behind-the-scenes details from coordinating vendors and office maintenance to ensuring employees have the resources and support they need to be successful.
History
Kelly is currently pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies online at the University of Michigan-Flint, expected in December 2026. Prior to joining Blackford full-time in April 2026, she interned at the firm as an Operations and Executive Support Intern. Kelly also previously worked as an Environment Services Assistant at Trilogy Health Services and volunteered for several years as a visitor companion with Faith Hospice.
Outside of Work
IKelly loves spending time with her family. They’re big fans of game nights, movie nights, and cooking together. She also spends a lot of time taking her yellow Lab, Captain, for walks. In the past, Kelly volunteered as a visitor companion with a local hospice organization, and she recently started volunteering with the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys attending musicals when she’s able to, or simply singing along to her favorite songs in the car.
